 30-And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 
 
 31-And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 
 
 32-And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 
 
 33-But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 
 
 34-And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 
 
 35-And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 
 
 36-Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 
 
 37-And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. 
 
As we can see we are commanded by our Lord and Master to take a stand for humanity and give a helping hand, I want to ask everyone at house of Jesus and those who pass by and make a quick stop for the water of truth, to support them, support them on Facebook by liking their page and by signing the petition right in our front page. 
 
If we all do this, we will bring attention to the issues involved in this case, and real chance can take place. It is no secret that Coca Cola has issues with racial discrimination, and anybody jumping to conclude that these are just money hungry people who are making stuff up, should look at the history of coca cola and see that the pages of its history are stained with the blood of racism and discrimination. 
 
Also keeping in mind that what these men and women are doing by standing up against oppression, is the very thing that the founding fathers of the United States did when they were faced with  the oppression of Taxation Without Representation, they did not simply said, since this situation is so bad, let us pick up and leave and set another nation somewhere else, instead they decided to take a stand for their rights and make a change to their situation, with the exclamation of Liberty or Death!, they  marched on and forged a new nation. 
 
So in my conclusion, if White America was to disagree with The Coke 16 standing up for their rights, then title of hypocrite would be self imposed. 
 
So to my fellow Americans, let us all stand up one more time against oppression and support these people, ultimately the Lord will be the judge of our actions and it should be our aim to follow His footsteps, otherwise let us not call ourselves Christians.

As we continue our struggle for justice and equality, we recognize that the words of Dr Martin Luther King were correct when he quoted 
 
" A time comes when silence is betrayal", 
 
and that time is now, the real church of God must take a stand and say NO MORE days like the old days when racism reigned supreme in this land. As children of God we must recognize racism as the tool used by evil forces to divide and conquer and keep this nation's inhabitants at each other's throats. Any attempt to bring reason to the table of dialog, is quickly submerged into the swamps of hatred and discord brought about by the sting of racist thorns brought about by the same evil forces we are all trying to defeat. 
 
My brothers, black, white and other minorities, time to wake up from our sleep. The enemies banking on us continue to walk aimlessly as drunkards, with our eyes closed, The scriptures tell us that for a man to be robbed first he must be bound, and then he can be robbed. This is exactly what is being done to us, racism is the rope being used against us in order to rob us of our dignity, or basic rights as a people and most importantly our freedom as human beings. Turning us all into slaves, white slaves and black slaves, both to hatred. When a man hates another man, he seeks to destroy that man, and in turn he becomes a slave, cause that hatred is what dominates his life and guides his every move. 
 
Now we have an excellent opportunity, we can now unite in one common goal, the eradication of racism from the work place, this will not be the end of this struggle, but a beginning, since much work is still needed to complete the entire task, but we need to lay foundation based on truth and equality, somewhere, so here is where we will start: 
 
This problem with Coca Cola and The Coke 16. 
 
To begin we need to support the movement of the coke 16, since they are taking a stand against racism in the work place, thus they need every child of God's support in doing so. 
 
Your support can come in showing up at the rallies when they start happening, or simply ( Please all DO!) liking them on facebook at facebook.com/Thecok16 , the reason why is cause coca cola brags about having over 30 million likes, so I think we can go past that on the coke 16, letting them know that the children of God are not in favor of racism, but on the side of freedom and equality. 
 
Please, tell every person you know about the coke 16 page, and to like it. 
 
Together we can accomplish great things, but this tales discipline, of course I do not think this would happen overnight, but when it does it will appear as if it did.

As you can see we are all commanded by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ to do the same thing for our neighbours. This is why House Of Jesus stands with The Coke 16, we are aware of the treatment received by them, as we have members who have endured that very treatment, so there is no way we could stand aside as God's children took on this Goliath, and not do something about it. We heard Dr King say once that 

Darkness cannot put out darkness; only light can do that

We are going to stand by them, and see this through.

"A time comes when silence is betrayal."

We can not stand aside and see how God's children continually are humiliated and dehumanized by the act of racism in the work place, and not raise the voice of concern, to the highest levels humanly possible.

We are well aware of the activities of the Coca Cola company and the indiference they have opted to follow to the complaints and declarations of those involved in this struggle.

So, faced with this brutal reality, we find no other choice than to speak up and call for a massive boycott on coca cola products. This boycott is to be in place until the issues at hand are resolved.

Some of our members are involved in this lawsuit and we feel that Coca Cola will not deal fairly with them, unless outside pressure is applied to stop this racism bleeding. The word of God declares the following:

23-Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.

Those accustomed to do evil will continue doing so, until an outside power changes their conduct, in this case, it is up to you to take a stand against racims in the workplace, by supporting this boycott on Coca Cola products, I mean all their products, again, until they deal fairly with our brothers and sisters in this struggle.

Dr King also spoke about the man on the road to Jericho, we all heard that parable from the scriptures, one thing to keep on mind that we are all called to be that Samaritan who stopped to help that man, instead of chosing to keep walking and hoping someone else will stop and help him. It is our duty as children of God to seek justice and to support those oppressed and maligned by the forces of evil. Racism is an evil disease which needs to be erradicated from the lives of all human beings, those perpetrating it and those being harmed by it.

We begin today with these scriptures:

When we look at the situation of the so called church, we can't help but to think how this verse pertains to them, just as much as to the non believers.

Looking at both the world and the so called church, we see so many things in common between both groups that frankly it is hard to separate one from the other.

Both are all about money, and accumulating wealth by all means available, and when not available, they simply create one.

One of my brothers told me once of how his father in law goes to a pentecostal so called church and made the mistake of letting the so called pastor know it was his borthday, innocently, and unaware of the money grabbing ability of such so called pastor. Any ways, the man asked him howl old he was turning that day and when he answered 50, the so called pastor informed him that he was supposed to pay to "God" $50.00 in order to give "God" one dollar per year he was allowed to live in this world.

Of course there is no biblical basis for this trickery, but this is one out of many tricks used by those wolves in sheep's clothing to fleece the congregation.

Now let us look at what the scriptures are telling us, God is sending us into this world as sheep amongst wolves, here God is warning us of the impending dangers of going into the world as a true child of His, but also he tells us how we must be as wise as they are but harmless at the same time. In other words, just cause we are real Christians does not mean that we must act naive and allowed to be violated and trampled upon at all turns, no!. We are to use the knowledge God gives us to stay safe, in His word is our protection, threfore, we must as stewards of the word of God, must know when to move and when to stop, beign wise as the world is means that we know about the affairs surrounding our lives so we can protect our families and loved ones with the help of God.

Brother or Sister, if we see danger then we must steer away from it and protect others, this is part of being a watchman for our brethren.

Now, going back to the so called church, as God opens our understanding, we, His children, must steer away from them also, they act as the rest of the serpents do, therefore they themselves are also serpents, so we must use our God given intelligence to withdraw ourselves from them and leave them alone, peradventure God will open their eyes once they see themselves alsone.

So as you can see, we are commanded to withdraw ourselves from them, this is commandment in the name of the Lord Jesus, so let us not bypass it based on unfounded loyalties to these wolves, they already have demonstrated that they want to act as the rest of the world, so here the bible instructs us to stay away from them, and unless there is a change in them, we are to stay away from them.

Sometimes I think many of us do not think twice before saying  'I love you Brother, or Sister', I am moved to think this way, the more I meditate on the scriptures that call us to do this very thing: Loving our brothers as ourselves.

Let us examine the scriptures and at the end of this study, God willing, we should all have an understanding of the degree of involment that comes with loving our brothers as ourselves.

God, I ask that you allow us to search your Holy scriptures with an open mind, ready to receive understanding from you, and understanding that to you is all the glory always, in the  name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.

Now, What does it mean to love someone as yourself? If we look at the basics of what this is telling us, we see that this indicates that what we want for ourselves we should want for our brethren also.

Therefore, everything that we would want to have for ourselves according to the word of God, we should also want our brother or sister to have, again according to the word fo God.

For example: Salvation

This is a great example, since the devil himself said :Everything a man has he would give for his life, so it tells you that even our most precious possesion : our life, should also be shared with our brethren and we should also would want for him or her to have this salvation.

The bible also talks about wordly possesions, money, food etc, this also can not be neglected, since  it represents a great opportunity for the glory of God to be manifested in you, as you help your brother or sister in their time of need.

At the beginning I mentioned that most of all when we say to another " I love you", do not really know what all that entitles, loving your brother or sister as yourself means that when you see him/her in need and you have the means to help, you do help and not hide from them. Loving him/her means that you are there in the good and bad times, the bible tell us to mourn with our brother and he mourns. There is a lot more to this, but I wanted to just get the mental ball rolling, so that you do your own homework, or at least ask questions and engage us in developing this study even further.

Greetings, Brothers and Sisters.
Today, we are going to take a look, at physical exercise and, with the help of God, we are going to use our observations of this physical activity in order to get spiritual knowledge.
We know that muscles react to the resistance of the weight being lifted, by growing and becoming stronger, thereby making it easier and easier to lift added weight in order to keep it growing thus enabling such group of muscles to be able to endure even greater resistance, all within their capacity, no matter how much you exercise you will be able to physically lift 100 tons of iron, but, again, within your physical capacity you will increase your ability to lift more or at least lift the same easier.
Now taking that into consideration, we see how the word of God talks about resisting and enduring, this gives us a clue as to how we can look and treat sin as what it is, a weight which slows us down in our walk. And anchor on a ship is not stopping the ship, but slowing it down by its weight to the limit that it is almost at a stand still, when we look at sin this way, we can realize that by resisting it, we in turn become stronger and stronger, thus making ourselves able to resist more or at least resisting such sin, easier. Plus we have to take into consideration the fact that our God will not allows us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist such temptation.
When our Lord and master Jesus Christ was in the wilderness the devil tempted Him during that time, and we see how once the devil saw he could not tempt Him into sinning, the devil fled from the Lord. Thus tells us what we must do. The book of James indicates that by resisting the devil, he will flee from us also. Brother or Sister, this is a clear indication that resisting is out main goal if we want to overthrow the devil from our flesh.
Now that we have this knowledge, how do we go about it ?
Once again we must take a look at the physical aspect in order for us to get the spiritual knowledge needed in this case.
When we start a workout routine we do not walk into a gym and try lifting the heaviest weights we see, right ? ( at least I hope you do not do it that way ), instead we start we the small weights, then as our muscles get accustomed to the resistance, we gradually increase the amount if weights being lifted, this reduces the chance of injury. Same thing with the spiritual, we do not try to tackle the biggest sin, meaning we start with the small everyday things, for example a man who has problems with alcohol I would not recommend he starts by going to a bar to resist his addiction. Instead tackle the little things. You know the things that you do everyday that you should not do, only you and God know those things, so examine yourself and look for the small things before trying the big ones, and in turn you will notice how they become easier and easier to resist, till it becomes second nature for you to not need those things which are not convenient for you to do. Then we can move in to those things that we thought were impossible, and that is where we can see that by ourselves what was impossible, now with God, it is possible.
Keep exercising daily my brother or sister, and you too will see how your spiritual muscles develop and increase your ability to resist sin and with time the devil will flee from you, then without all that weight brought on you by your temptations to sin, you will just Like a ship without the weight of its anchor, now be able to sail through the waters of salvation with favorable winds.

With all the nonsense being spoken about by certain preachers, I thought about speaking about this topic with the help of the scriptures as always.
The question is : How much time do I have left?
This is a curious question, since implies that a person would like to know the period of time left before something occurs, in this particular case it is the end of the word.
Let us see what the bible says about this subject, and how this can help us rest assured that God is in control of this matter.

Hebrews 9:27
King James Version (KJV)

27-And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Once to die then judgement.
Ah!, how wise is our Lord and Master, with a single verse He let's us know exactly when this is happening. The truth is that once we die we will see the judgment, so let us concentrate on today living the life God intended for us to live, and not worrying about when the judgment is going to happen, since sooner than you think it will be in front of you my friend.
Life passes as the vapor of the morning dew. I remember things that happened to me 37 or so years ago as if it were today, and all it takes me to see it in my mind is a fraction of a second, that is life flashing in front of my eyes and I'm sure for as long as I live and God gives me this faculty, I will recall other moments in the same like manner.
Life is just the beginning of the journey, let us labor to get there, by walking with our Lord and Master Jesus Christ as He intends for us to walk, that is in agreement with Him.
I hope you do not mind the simplicity of this study, I think it is a good thing to keep things simple sometimes, and let the reader do some homework of his own, and if he wishes, to ask questions also.
