Greetings.

We begin today with these scriptures:

Matthew 10:16

16-Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

When we look at the situation of the so called church, we can't help but to think how this verse pertains to them, just as much as to the non believers.

Looking at both the world and the so called church, we see so many things in common between both groups that frankly it is hard to separate one from the other.

Both are all about money, and accumulating wealth by all means available, and when not available, they simply create one.

One of my brothers told me once of how his father in law goes to a pentecostal so called church and made the mistake of letting the so called pastor know it was his borthday, innocently, and unaware of the money grabbing ability of such so called pastor. Any ways, the man asked him howl old he was turning that day and when he answered 50, the so called pastor informed him that he was supposed to pay to "God" $50.00 in order to give "God" one dollar per year he was allowed to live in this world.

Of course there is no biblical basis for this trickery, but this is one out of many tricks used by those wolves in sheep's clothing to fleece the congregation.

Now let us look at what the scriptures are telling us, God is sending us into this world as sheep amongst wolves, here God is warning us of the impending dangers of going into the world as a true child of His, but also he tells us how we must be as wise as they are but harmless at the same time. In other words, just cause we are real Christians does not mean that we must act naive and allowed to be violated and trampled upon at all turns, no!. We are to use the knowledge God gives us to stay safe, in His word is our protection, threfore, we must as stewards of the word of God, must know when to move and when to stop, beign wise as the world is means that we know about the affairs surrounding our lives so we can protect our families and loved ones with the help of God.

Brother or Sister, if we see danger then we must steer away from it and protect others, this is part of being a watchman for our brethren.

Now, going back to the so called church, as God opens our understanding, we, His children, must steer away from them also, they act as the rest of the serpents do, therefore they themselves are also serpents, so we must use our God given intelligence to withdraw ourselves from them and leave them alone, peradventure God will open their eyes once they see themselves alsone.

2 Thessalonians 3:6

6-Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.

So as you can see, we are commanded to withdraw ourselves from them, this is commandment in the name of the Lord Jesus, so let us not bypass it based on unfounded loyalties to these wolves, they already have demonstrated that they want to act as the rest of the world, so here the bible instructs us to stay away from them, and unless there is a change in them, we are to stay away from them.

I'll stop here for now, just wanted to get the ball rolling with this. I will, God willing, continue this study in the near future, in the mean time, research this subject and please, contact us with your feedback, or concerns.

God bless you and thank you for stopping by.

R.

Greetings

Sometimes I think many of us do not think twice before saying 'I love you Brother, or Sister', I am moved to think this way, the more I meditate on the scriptures that call us to do this very thing: Loving our brothers as ourselves.

Let us examine the scriptures and at the end of this study, God willing, we should all have an understanding of the degree of involment that comes with loving our brothers as ourselves.

God, I ask that you allow us to search your Holy scriptures with an open mind, ready to receive understanding from you, and understanding that to you is all the glory always, in the name of the Lord Jesus, Amen.

Now, What does it mean to love someone as yourself? If we look at the basics of what this is telling us, we see that this indicates that what we want for ourselves we should want for our brethren also.

Therefore, everything that we would want to have for ourselves according to the word of God, we should also want our brother or sister to have, again according to the word fo God.

For example: Salvation

This is a great example, since the devil himself said :Everything a man has he would give for his life, so it tells you that even our most precious possesion : our life, should also be shared with our brethren and we should also would want for him or her to have this salvation.

The bible also talks about wordly possesions, money, food etc, this also can not be neglected, since it represents a great opportunity for the glory of God to be manifested in you, as you help your brother or sister in their time of need.

At the beginning I mentioned that most of all when we say to another " I love you", do not really know what all that entitles, loving your brother or sister as yourself means that when you see him/her in need and you have the means to help, you do help and not hide from them. Loving him/her means that you are there in the good and bad times, the bible tell us to mourn with our brother and he mourns. There is a lot more to this, but I wanted to just get the mental ball rolling, so that you do your own homework, or at least ask questions and engage us in developing this study even further.

God bless you and remember to use the "contact us" link for your questions and concerns.

Greetings, Brothers and Sisters.
Today, we are going to take a look, at physical exercise and, with the help of God, we are going to use our observations of this physical activity in order to get spiritual knowledge.
We know that muscles react to the resistance of the weight being lifted, by growing and becoming stronger, thereby making it easier and easier to lift added weight in order to keep it growing thus enabling such group of muscles to be able to endure even greater resistance, all within their capacity, no matter how much you exercise you will be able to physically lift 100 tons of iron, but, again, within your physical capacity you will increase your ability to lift more or at least lift the same easier.
Now taking that into consideration, we see how the word of God talks about resisting and enduring, this gives us a clue as to how we can look and treat sin as what it is, a weight which slows us down in our walk. And anchor on a ship is not stopping the ship, but slowing it down by its weight to the limit that it is almost at a stand still, when we look at sin this way, we can realize that by resisting it, we in turn become stronger and stronger, thus making ourselves able to resist more or at least resisting such sin, easier. Plus we have to take into consideration the fact that our God will not allows us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist such temptation.
When our Lord and master Jesus Christ was in the wilderness the devil tempted Him during that time, and we see how once the devil saw he could not tempt Him into sinning, the devil fled from the Lord. Thus tells us what we must do. The book of James indicates that by resisting the devil, he will flee from us also. Brother or Sister, this is a clear indication that resisting is out main goal if we want to overthrow the devil from our flesh.
Now that we have this knowledge, how do we go about it ?
Once again we must take a look at the physical aspect in order for us to get the spiritual knowledge needed in this case.
When we start a workout routine we do not walk into a gym and try lifting the heaviest weights we see, right ? ( at least I hope you do not do it that way ), instead we start we the small weights, then as our muscles get accustomed to the resistance, we gradually increase the amount if weights being lifted, this reduces the chance of injury. Same thing with the spiritual, we do not try to tackle the biggest sin, meaning we start with the small everyday things, for example a man who has problems with alcohol I would not recommend he starts by going to a bar to resist his addiction. Instead tackle the little things. You know the things that you do everyday that you should not do, only you and God know those things, so examine yourself and look for the small things before trying the big ones, and in turn you will notice how they become easier and easier to resist, till it becomes second nature for you to not need those things which are not convenient for you to do. Then we can move in to those things that we thought were impossible, and that is where we can see that by ourselves what was impossible, now with God, it is possible.
Keep exercising daily my brother or sister, and you too will see how your spiritual muscles develop and increase your ability to resist sin and with time the devil will flee from you, then without all that weight brought on you by your temptations to sin, you will just Like a ship without the weight of its anchor, now be able to sail through the waters of salvation with favorable winds.
God bless you and keep you.
Remember to share the bible studies with family and friends and help the House Of Jesus project reach more and more people.

Greetings.
With all the nonsense being spoken about by certain preachers, I thought about speaking about this topic with the help of the scriptures as always.
The question is : How much time do I have left?
This is a curious question, since implies that a person would like to know the period of time left before something occurs, in this particular case it is the end of the word.
Let us see what the bible says about this subject, and how this can help us rest assured that God is in control of this matter.

Hebrews 9:27
King James Version (KJV)

27-And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Once to die then judgement.
Ah!, how wise is our Lord and Master, with a single verse He let's us know exactly when this is happening. The truth is that once we die we will see the judgment, so let us concentrate on today living the life God intended for us to live, and not worrying about when the judgment is going to happen, since sooner than you think it will be in front of you my friend.
Life passes as the vapor of the morning dew. I remember things that happened to me 37 or so years ago as if it were today, and all it takes me to see it in my mind is a fraction of a second, that is life flashing in front of my eyes and I'm sure for as long as I live and God gives me this faculty, I will recall other moments in the same like manner.
Life is just the beginning of the journey, let us labor to get there, by walking with our Lord and Master Jesus Christ as He intends for us to walk, that is in agreement with Him.
I hope you do not mind the simplicity of this study, I think it is a good thing to keep things simple sometimes, and let the reader do some homework of his own, and if he wishes, to ask questions also.
May God bless you and keep you.
R.

We have all been there, some have stayed there longer than others. Yet the time comes when we have to ask ourselves, do we go forward? Stay here? Or do...

We have all been there, some have stayed there longer than others. Yet the time comes when we have to ask ourselves, do we go forward? Stay here? Or do we go back?
That my friend, is what one needs to ask oneself, but before that, let us examine each question as an alternative.
What does going forward means?
Think about it, going forward is leaving everything else behind.

Going back means returning to business as usual, going back to being the same old man or woman you are now or were trying to leave behind.
This brings us to being stuck in the twightlight.
The twightlight is a time when one can not really say it is day or night, right in between, and during this time means you are not in the light completely neither are you in complete darkness, the bible talks about being nor hot nor cold but lukewarm.
Being in the twightlight means you do enough to trick some people into thinking you are changing while at the sale time convincing others you still walk with them.
A better illustration is to try serving both God and the devil at the same time.
My brother or sister, the one being truly fooled is you. One can not serve two masters well.
Also our Lord and Master Jesus Christ tells us that He would that we be hot or cold, but since one is lukewarm He will spew him out of his mouth.
Let us concentrate on serving the true God, the living God with humble hearts always looking towards the finish line, where all those who endure will receive their crowns of glory.
Remember, you are the one being fooled, things done in darkness find their way to the light, repent therefore while there’s still time.

God bless you and keep you always.
R.

The title says it all, all those called to be children of God must once and for all stop paying tithes and offerings to those who claim you HAVE to pay such tithes and offerings.
In this study we will dive into the heart of the matter by explaining the following:

A-Who was ordained to collect tithes and offerings?

B-The purpose of tithes and offerings.

C-where were those commanded to pay those tithes and offerings supposed to take such tithes and offerings?

D-And finally, after laying that particular foundation, we will get into why the need to STOP paying tithes and offerings as it is done in the so called church, in our days.

A-Who was ordained to collect tithes and offerings

Hebrews 7 tells us that the levitites were commanded according to the law to collect tithes and offerings from their brethren. This commandment was ONLY given to this group of people according to the law.

D-Why the need to STOP paying tithes and offerings as preached in the so called church, in our days.

The word "Until" indicates a limit or an end to something.
For example if I tell you, I'll be at work until 4PM, that means after 4PM I will not be at work. Another example is if peradventure I tell you "This contract is valid until December 31st", that would meant that on January 1st, the contract is not valid any longer. Now keeping that in mind, we find that there was a time appointed for the law of moses to be replaced with something 'better'.

Hebrews 9:9-10

King James Version (KJV)

<sup class="versenum" id="en-KJV-30115">9</sup>-Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

10-Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Hebrews 9:9-10 tells us that the gifts and sacrifices of the law were imposed (commanded) "until" the time of reformation, meaning they were not perpetual!

This is extremely important since it goes hand in hand with what our Lord and Master Jesus Christ told Brother Peter regarding the "children" being free.

Matthew 17:25-27

25-He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

26-Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

27-Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

So we knew there would be a "time" for reformation, this was spoken about also in Galatians 4:

Galatians 4

<sup class="versenum" id="en-KJV-29133">1-</sup>Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2-But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

3-Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

4-But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5-To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

6-And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

As we can see, now that we have come to know the truth, we are adopted sons of God, therefore the KING is our Father, so we no longer have to pay tribute. This alone shoulkd be enough to prove the point of not paying tithes and offerings, but for the sake of maintaning our rule of providing overwhelming scriptures as much as possible, to clear all doubt, let us continue, and look at it from the Hebrews 7 to 10 approach.

So let us divide this explanation into two branches the first being what Our Lord said about the children being free and the other what the word of God tells us in the book of Hebrews.

Taking it from what our Lord and Master Jesus Christ told us when He spoke to Peter, we see that paying tithes and offerings means that we deny God being our Father, since the children do NOT have to pay, yet we choose to pay, our actions speak saying that we have another father and that this Father (God) is NOT ours, therefore we are the children of a stranger.

Taking from the book of Hebrews, by paying tithes and offerings in a carnal way, we deny the once and for all payment done by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, when He, Himself, made payment on the cross, once and for all for our transgressions.

So as we can see, our actions speak volumes of where our faith really is.

Let us stop denying our Father by paying something we do not have to as His Children, and also let us stop denying the sacrifice made by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

I ask you, that you please study the scriptures mentioned in this study, and meditate on them while asking God to open your understanding to the real truth.

May God bless you and increase your knowledge daily, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Greetings.
As another prediction of doomsday fails, the need of an in depth look arises. We need to look at what really is behind the false prophets and teachers who make a living out of projecting fear, and who is the spirit behind it.
First, let us look at why do they insist in this type of preaching.
The one thing that our society reacts to is shock treatment, just take a look at entertainment today, most people in entertainment will not become famous until ' something shocking' about them comes to light, and if it did not happen in the past, then they themselves make it happen right now. Just look at how many 'videos' have popped up in the last few years, and how famous these ladies become afterwards. Again 'shock' works for society at large, therefore the so called church has to emulate this concept, by preaching something that is NOT part of the scriptures.
Allow me to elaborate:
Ask yourself what is the great comission, most churches speak about?

Matthew 28:19-20 King James Version (KJV)

19-Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20-Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Please note how our Lord and Master Jesus Christ did not order His disciples to go and preach what 'date' He would come back, or what 'numbers' to use to preach effectively, yet end times ministries do just that. If you are in NY city and turn your radio to a certain AM station, you can listen to a preacher whose entire ministries is playing with numbers, 'this name means this in numbers or that etc', that is all you hear. But why are they succesful? Simply cause they are playing to the lusts of the listener, if you are a gambler, then this will appeal to you, that way you can play the gospel numbers and hit the jackpot (salvation), but my friends, it does not work like that.
Others are attracted to this type of ministry, cause they see it as a way of cutting corners, they figure, if they know the end, then they can live their sinful lives to the fullest, and just before the end, they can repent and be saved, this is fullishness of course.

Mark 3:27 King James Version (KJV)

27-No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

The bible tells us that before one can rob the house of a strongman first one must put him in bondage, that is exactly what end times does to people who follow it, it puts them in bondage to a lie, so that the one doing the preaching can rob them blind, just look at the fiasco of this past prediction of May 21st, how many lives have been ruined as a result of this delusion being followed with complete disregard of what the bible says, many lost their life's savings and now have to face being ridiculed by non believers who will always bring that up, any time those poor souls might try to speak to them about God in the future. So all those prospective ministries are also ruined.

Now brother or sister, who benefits from this situtation more than the enemy himself?, so we see what is the force behind this type of preaching, yes the so called ministers doing this are doing it for their gain, but the force behind them is the enemy himself.

The best thing to do is stay firm in the word and stay away from those wolves in sheep's clothing, all they want is money, and the one behind them wants to make sure you never come to the truth, in which case you will be set free.

God bless you and keep you.

R.

Greetings.

Now that it's all over with the prediction of May 21st 2011, what do we do?

Well, we keep on doing what we have been doing, preaching the word of God free of charge and teaching the people about the true ways of the Lord.

I watched a video of the man who predicted the failed doomsday, and I really felt bad for the guy, what do we gain by bashing his ministry?, everyone who follows him will have no excuse, since he has been exposed as a false teacher by his own doing, therefore he has done more harm than anything anybody could say or do to his enterprise.

So that is done.

Let us ask God to have mercy on him and open his eyes to the truth.

Now let us move forward and continue in the word, always keeping in mind what the bible says, checking scriptures with scriptures and not following the teachings of men, but sound doctrine.

God bless you and keep you all.

R.

Greetings.

With all this nonsense end of the world fever going on, I thought of not making a statement, but I feel that just in case someone might cross paths with this website, it was a good idea to say something.

The world is not going to end today May 21st 2011, or Oct 21st 2011.

How do I know this?

Cause no man knows this date, and simply by some false teacher saying it, this ensures me that that is not the day.

I´m not going to go into the details. but just one scripture kills his entire doctrine

Mark 13:31-33 (King James Version)

31-Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

32-But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

33-Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

God bless you and continue to increase your knowledge of His word.

R.
